In the fall of 1982, these basement rooms were discovered by Sieglinde and Eduard Bödi. From January 1983 onwards it was planned, built and lovingly furnished.
On September 5, 1983, “Edi’s wine cellar” opened its doors. A bar with a Heurigen buffet, several tables and the fireplace lounge invited you to spend cozy hours. In March 1990, the room behind the bar was converted into a kitchen and the “Große Stüberl” was converted into a guest room. In addition to the buffet, there was also warm food.
In July 1998 the restaurant was renovated and refurnished. The bar was redesigned and the Heurigen tables and benches gave way to the current furnishings. And the entrance area also changed. The garden was finally opened in September 2006. In 4 months of construction, the old kiosk was demolished, a pergola was built and a beautiful guest garden was created underneath.
On June 28, 2008, Sieglinde and Eduard Bödi retired and Philipp Bödi took over the restaurant.
